The Calder Seniors held their Birthday Social on Feb. 20, 2011. Happy Birthday to all the people for the months of January and February. Hope you all had wonderful birthdays.

The Calder Seniors held their Birthday Social on Feb. 20, 2011. Happy Birthday to all the people for the months of January and February. Hope you all had wonderful birthdays.

Ella Becker, Sonia Swerhun and Norman Wozney celebrated their birthdays at the Birthday Social on Febraury 20.

The Whist Drive winners are as follows: 1st Beth Furtney of Roblin, 2nd Marjory Mankish of Calder, 3rd Pete Swehun of Calder, 4th Anna Fyck of Calder and Arnold Balabuk took low. Pot of Gold winners were Liz Wozney and Anna Fyck.

Glen and Louise Yaroski make it home safe and sound from their trip to Mexico.

The Good Neighbour Centre held their Whist Drive on Feb. 26, 2011. Winners were: 1st Elmer Eftoda, 2nd Mildred Danylko, 3rd Donna Fustey and low Peter Swehun and Jim Fustey. Pot of Gold winners were Elmer Eftoda and Gordon Kahut.

The Calder School has started up a Photo/Yearbook Club at the school for students in grade 5-8. Sessions are held EVERY Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:00.
Come out and have some fun taking pictures for the school yearbook.

Students in Kindergarten to grade 4 will be motoring to Yorkton on Monday, March 7, to attend The Paper Bag Princess and More Concert. This is a Robert Munsch story so the students will really enjoy this show.

The Calder Students will be receiving their report cards on March 17, 2011.

Parent teacher interviews will be held on March 23 at the school.

Mrs Sobkow attended a two day seminar on Threat Risk Assessment in February.

The Calder Students, Staff and our Community would like to welcome Mrs. Fisher to the School. Mrs. Fisher is the new student support teacher. We hope she has a great time teaching at our school.

The Grade Seven band will be taking in the Optimist Festival in Regina on March 24, 2011. The GSSD Music Festival will be held at the end of March.
