Punnichy RCMP investigating fatal pedestrian-vehicle collision

Pedestrian was struck by a vehicle which did not remain at the scene

PUNNICHY – On April 3, 2022 at approximately 9:50 p.m., Punnichy RCMP received a report of a collision on George Gordon First Nation.

Investigation determined that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, which did not remain at the scene. The victim, a 52-year-old female from George Gordon First

Nation, was transported to hospital, where she later died. Her family has been notified.

Punnichy RCMP have located the vehicle involved. No arrests have been made and Punnichy RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan

RCMP Collision Re-constructionist as well as the Regina and Yorkton Provincial General Investigation Sections and Yorkton Forensic Identification Services.
