The Los Angeles Committee invited members' and their guests to a discussion and reception. The program included the presentation of the Rumford Prize to this year’s recipient, Andrea M. Ghez, followed by a conversation highlighting how creativity and imagination fuel scientific discovery, and how science inspires artistic expression. The event was also an opportunity to welcome new Â鶹´«Ã½AV President Laurie Patton, connect with fellow Â鶹´«Ã½AV members, and visit the California Science Center.
