The Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Cash Lottery officially awarded its prizes on Friday to their two biggest winners. The $100,000 cash prize was awarded to Nelson Heidt of North Battleford, who said he “didn’t really believe it at first” when he was called at work with the good news. He had bought his winning ticket in the lobby of the hospital in response to an ad on the radio. He says he is still trying to figure out what to do with all the money.
