John Gress December 23, 1921 - September 11, 2011 John Gress, late of Estevan, Sask. passed away in Regina, Sask. on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the age of 89 years. John is survived by his children: Garry (Diane) Gress, Garth (Sandra) Gress, Debra (Jim Warner) Gress; grandchildren: Danielle Gress, Jonathon (Dianne) Gress, Gavin Gress, Chantel (Bruno) Boutin, Tamara (Arnold) Grol, Taja Rooks (Lorne), Paul Havens, Teri (Will) Arnott, Jackie (Rick) Johnston and Wayne (Mistie) Warner; 19 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Sophie Gress, Katherine Kosolofski, Pauline Bilawich, Betty (Arnold) Schlapkohl, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose Gress; parents, John and Katherine Gress; brothers: Matt Gress and Joseph Gress; sisters and brothers-in-law: Marion and Ben Resler, Veronica and Werner Rheindel, Matilda and Marion Rogolski and Amelia and Marcus Aspenlieder; in-laws: Ignatiz and Rose Dillman, Valentine and Mary Dillman, Jacob and Mary Dillman, Peter and Ann Dillman, John and Otillia Dillman, Marie and Thomas Hesketh, Magdeline and James McMorine, Edward Kosolofski and Walter Bilawich. Prayers were held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Estevan, by Rev. Peter Nijssen. Interment followed in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan. Those so wishing may make donations to the New Estevan Regional Nursing Home, 1201 - 2nd Street, Estevan, SK, S4A 0M1 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 - 3rd Ave N., Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8 in John's memory. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Thank You Thank you to family, friends and neighbours for your thoughtfulness.
