Police tackle property crimes, crimes against persons

Battlefords RCMP responded to 536 calls for service from June 16 to 22.

BATTLEFORDS - It was a busy past week for Battlefords RCMP responding to calls.

Battlefords RCMP responded to 536 calls for service from June 16 to 22. This includes:

  • 91 property crimes
  • 52 crimes against a person
  • Eight reports of stolen vehicles, five of which have been recovered
  • Five reports of missing people, all of whom have been located
  • 21 foot patrols were conducted

"Boating responsibly helps prevent accidents and saves lives. Let’s work together to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time on the water," police said in the news release.
