HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery will host a barbecue and concert beside the museum at 602 Main Street on July 10 from 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m.
Catherine Harrison, cultural programmer for the museum, said, “Spend your lunch hour with us. Enjoy a burger and some great live music by Brian Grest and Walter Bushman, and you’ll be supporting the community work of the Humboldt and District Museum and Gallery.”
The musical event is sponsored by the Humboldt Area Arts Council.
The museum, a cornerstone of the city’s cultural scene, is housed in a designated municipal heritage building originally constructed in 1912 as the Humboldt Post Office. It continues to preserve and share the rich history of the region through exhibitions, programs and events like this community concert.
