The NationsWEST Field House hosted a sanctioned Saskatchewan Volleyball Association event for the second time this season when 13/14U women's teams hit the court.
Battlefords Volleyball Club 14U Fusion was the host team along with the Battlefords Volleyball Club 13U Rage.
Neither finished with a medal, but again the new facility and organization of the tournament was admired by visiting teams and fans.
PA Toppers En Fuego 14U won the gold medal and beat the Swift Current Jr. Sundogs 14U in the final.
Taking third pale was Saskatoon JCVC 14U Black, as they edged out the Fusion who finished fourth.
Rosetown Athlete's Haven 14U, Saskatoon JCVC U13s, Saskatoon Impact U14, Martensville Outer Limits 14U, Warman 14U and Saskatoon Wave 13U also competed in the Battlefords on the weekend.
North Battleford plans to host one more sanctioned tournament this season, which will the 15U women's tournament April 20 at NationsWEST Field House.
