After taking the 1-0 series lead, the Battlefords Bantam AA Barons found themselves in a do-or-die situation against the Prince Albert Raiders.
The Barons lost game tow of the best-of-three series in Prince Albert Sunday. Game three was played Wednesday at the Battleford Arena and the Barons had a strong second half of the game that lifted them to a 7-3 win.
The win advances the Barons to the North Division semifinal against West Central, who were first in the division with a 22-3-2 record. The Barons were 12-11-4 during the regular season. In the other North Division semifinal, North East and Sask Valley will face off. In the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Division, the Regina Pat Blues, Swift Current, Prairie Storm and Yorkton team remain.
