And then there were five.
The North Battleford Touch Football League's playoffs started Tuesday with two quarter-final games on the schedule.
One game was postponed so it was just the Gophers and the Mettaxxas Ball Busters in action. The Gophers, who finished the regular season at 7-3 and in second place, beat the sixth place Ball Busters 14-0.
The game between the 4-6 Wanderers and 2-8 Broncos was postponed and no rescheduled date has been set. The Huskies, who finished the season at 9-1 will play the winner of the Wanderers and Broncos in the semifinals.
The 8-2 Rhinos will face the Gophers in the other semifinal game.
The schedule is expected to resume next week at Beaver Lions Stadium, as there was a scheduling conflict with Thursday night as well this week due to the North Battleford Comprehensive High School Vikings playing a home game.
