After the lengthy holiday break, students were back in class at North Battleford Comprehensive High School and the senior girls' basketball team was back on the court.
The Vikings competed in the Prince Albert St. Mary's Invitational Tournament on the weekend and, after three wins, they returned home with another gold medal.
The Vikings defeated Melfort 83-19 and Meath Park 54-40 Friday. Saturday, they beat Warman 40-33 to move to the final against Middle Lake. The Vikings put up 45 points in the final and won by a score of 45-23.
The Vikings improved to 16-1 on the season after tournaments in Saskatoon, Prince Albert Carlton and Melfort earlier in the season.
The next action for NBCHS senior girls will be this weekend as they host their home tournament starting Friday afternoon.
