Dear Editor
In response to "Premier makes summer stop in Battlefords (Regional Optimist, July 11) the news report that 86 per cent of Sask. Party members voted to abolish the Senate is not correct.
A low turn out of 33 per cent of Sask. Party members participated in the Senate vote.
The approximate 28 per cent of Sask. Party members voting in favour of abolishing the Senate is far from majority.
I respect the present Senate expense audits and wait for a final report.
