PRINCE ALBERT — A man found dead Saturday morning in Prince Albert was not the victim of foul play, according to police.
Prince Albert Police Service said officers were called at approximately 8:10 a.m. on June 14 after Parkland Ambulance reported a deceased male near the intersection of 15th Avenue East and 15th Street East.
Upon arrival, officers located a 49-year-old man. The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service and the police Forensic Identification Section were also called to the scene.
Following further investigation, the man’s death was determined to be non-criminal in nature.
Police noted the incident occurred near the location of a separate death reported on May 26, but emphasized the two incidents are not believed to be connected.
The man’s next of kin have been notified, and police say no further information will be released.
