                    Margulies is a playwright whose Dinner with Friends won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2000 and has been translated for performances in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Japan, India, Korea, Israel, and Turkey.  Margulies' other notable plays include The Country House (2014), Coney Island Christmas (2012), Time Stands Still (2009), and Brooklyn Boy (2004).  More recently, Margulies has moved into film and television.  He adapted David Lipsky's memoir of a road trip with David Foster Wallace as a feature movie, The End of the Tour (2015).  He is currently working on a television series for HBO on President Andrew Jackson.
