JoAnn Falletta is among the most outstanding conductors of her generation and a leading force for music of our time.  As Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic and Virginia Symphony, she is a vibrant ambassador for music and an inspiring artistic leader. She has conducted over a hundred orchestras in North America, and prominent orchestras throughout Europe, Asia, South America and Africa, with over a hundred world premieres. Her recordings have garnered two Grammy Awards and multiple Grammy nominations. She has won many of the most prestigious conducting awards and served on the National Council on the Arts.
