I am a geophysicist with broad intellectual interests including oceans, climate, interaction of geologic with living processes, and Earth history. I recently chaired the National Â鶹´«Ã½AV's committee on Geoengineering that produced a pair of reports on Climate Intervention. I am President of the National Â鶹´«Ã½AV of Sciences.
