Bob has more than forty years of venture capital investment experience. He is the co-founder of Causeway Partners and Highland Capital Partners. In addition, Bob has helped form several other seed capital and venture capital firms. He was a faculty member at Harvard Business School for 20 years where he taught courses on entrepreneurship. He is a former director of the National Venture Capital Association and president of the New England Venture Capital Association. Before entering venture capital, Bob spent nine years in the not-for-profit sector. He was the chief executive of three private, grantmaking foundations in New York for three years each. He is a former Assistant to a U.S. Secretary of Commerce and was appointed to a position in the U.S. Treasury. Earlier, he served as an officer in the Army at West Point. Bob was graduated from Harvard College, and he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
