Beginning with The Ideas Festival and continuing through the exploration of issues and ideas in education, communication, philosophy, education and defense and security, Isaacson is constantly seeking collaboration in improving ideas and concepts. He has changed the emphasis at The Aspen Institute to one of pure research and exploration to one that continues that mission but adds the element of consequence and impact. Isaacson's influence--whether through his biographies and the insights they deliver or through his on-going, year round, global exploration of issues--and the people he draws together for that exploration produces an outsized influence for the man but influence that he uses to continue to build knowledge and understanding.
