Police make arrest in Broad street robbery, seek third suspect

The male suspect falsely identifying himself as a police officer.

REGINA – Two people were arrested and police are searching for a third person after arobbery at a business on Broad Street last week.

The incident happened on June 20 at approximately 6 p.m. in the 1800 block of Broad Street. According to Regina police, two women and a man went into a business, with the male suspect falsely identifying himself as a police officer. The suspects allegedly assaulted and threatened the victim before stealing a cellphone and an undisclosed amount of money. They fled the scene before officers arrived.

In the investigation, police identified and arrested 30-year-year-old Karli Weiss-Delorme on June 21. The next day, 45-year-old Nahman Cole was taken into custody without incident.

Weiss-Delorme faces a robbery charge, while Cole is charged with robbery and impersonating a police officer. Both appeared in Regina Provincial Court on June 23.
