REGINA — The City of Regina is advising residents of several temporary road closures throughout the city this week as crews carry out road and infrastructure work.

On 14th Avenue, between McIntyre Street and Smith Street, the road will be closed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while crews conduct repairs.

15th Avenue, from Toronto Street to Montreal Street, will be closed starting at 8 a.m. for approximately three days as a private contractor completes work in the area.

On Truesdale Drive, between Fowler Street and Helmsing Street, crews will be working on the water system. The road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Victoria Avenue, between Garnet Street and Elphinstone Street, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for tree planting. However, north- and southbound traffic on Athol Street and Montague Street will still be able to cross Victoria Avenue.

Transit users are advised to check with Regina Transit to see if any of the closures will impact routes or bus stop access.

The city thanked residents for their patience and reminded motorists to slow down in construction zones.
