REGINA – Police have arrested a third person, a 16-year-old youth, in the death of William Allan Campbell, which occurred on April 24.

Regina police say they made the arrest on April 30 and charged the youth, who can’t be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act, with first-degree murder and failing to comply with conditions.

The youth made his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on Thursday.

This arrest follows the arrest of two other suspects earlier this week. On April 28, 23-year-old Dontay Bellegarde was charged with first-degree murder and breaching a probation order. He appeared in court the following day.

Keli Stonechild, also charged with first-degree murder, had his initial court appearance on April 28. The case was adjourned to May 2 to allow him time to secure legal representation.

At approximately 5:30 a.m., on April 24, Regina police and EMS were called to the 800 block of Victoria Avenue for a report of an injured man. When officers arrived they located the victim, who was pronounced deceased shortly afterwards.

Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact the RPS at 306-777-6500 or Regina Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Authorities have thanked the public and media for their cooperation in the ongoing investigation.
