Traffic tipoffs for the weekend

The City of Regina thanks residents for their patience and reminds them to slow down in construction zones.

REGINA — The City of Regina advises of the following traffic restrictions for the weekend.

Saturday

Saskatchewan Drive – alley to Broad Street 

Between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m., Saskatchewan Dr eastbound will be restricted while a private contractor completes work. 

 

Sunday

Broad Street underpass – Dewdney Avenue to Saskatchewan Drive 

Between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m., Broad St will be restricted while crews remove frost plugs. 

 

Victoria Avenue – Broad Street to Osler Street 

Between 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Victoria Ave eastbound will be closed while a private contractor uses a crane in the area. Two-way traffic will be maintained. 

 

Monday

13th Avenue and Hamilton Street 

Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., this intersection will be closed for three days while a private contractor completes work. 

  

Albert Street and 1st Avenue North 

Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., the northeast corner of this intersection will be restricted while a private contractor completes work. 

 

College Avenue – Winnipeg Street to Atkinson Street 

Starting at 9:30 a.m., College Avenue westbound will be closed for three weeks while crews replace water services. 

 

Dewdney Avenue - Scarth Street to Cornwall Street 

Starting at 7 a.m., Dewdney Ave will be closed for two days while crews complete work as part of the Dewdney Avenue Corridor Revitalization Project. 

 

Rochdale Boulevard at Blanchfield Street 

Starting at 7 a.m., Rochdale Blvd will be restricted at this intersection for 10 days while crews pave the road. 

 

Transit riders are encouraged to check with Regina Transit to determine if any restrictions or closures impact their routes or bus stops.
