Winners revealed in Hospitals of Regina Foundation’s Home Lottery

$1.6 million grand prize showhome won by Brandie Bouvier; other big winners announced in their 2025 spring lottery.

REGINA - The Hospitals of Regina Foundation has announced the names of the top prize winners in the Hospitals of Regina Foundation’s 2025 Spring Home Lottery.

The top prize of the $1.6 million grand prize showhome plus $50,000 cash was won by Brandie Bouvier of Regina, with a winning ticket number of 046450.

The 50/50 winner with a payout of $560,900 was won by Jill and Don McDougall of Regina. Their ticket number was 428284.

The early bird prize of a Corvette Stingray or $100,000 cash was won by Joanna Chisholm of Regina, with ticket number 030202.

And finally the Membership Loyalty Prize of $10,000 cash was won by Brad Heidt of Kerrobert, ticket number 004325.

All winners are to be notified in writing by MNP and Hospitals of Regina Foundation Home Lottery on their prize and how to claim it.

The grand prize winner Bouvier and the loyalty prize winner Heidt were unable to attend the announcement Friday at the showhome, but other winners were on hand and were excited about their winnings.

Chisholm was an operating room nurse for years at Regina General Hospital and felt it was important to buy tickets. She found out from a niece in Grande Prairie that she had won.

She has indicated she will take the $100,000, but admitted taking the Corvette Stingray was tempting.

“It was but you’d need a bodyguard and two canines to help you look after it, I’m sure,” said Chisholm. Instead, she plans to use some of the $100,000 to fix up her 22-year old Corolla. “And it’s rusting out so I’d better start there.”

Don McDougall had spent years involved in the Shriners helping them raise money for good causes. Now he is getting a windfall thanks to another charity.

“It’s pretty exciting and I couldn’t do it without my wife,” Don said, referring to Jill as “the boss.”

Jill said they regularly buy tickets in the Home Lottery, “because of the work that they do to support our community. Our health care is very important to everybody. We’ve supported the lottery all along and for a number of years purchased tickets. And we have never won a prize before so this was quite exciting when this happens.”

As for what they will do with their large windfall, they say it will take a few days to figure that out. “Right now it’s just going to go in the bank,” Jill said.

A complete list of winners will be posted at hrfHomeLottery.com on May 16.
