SASKATOON — Downtown Saskatoon will be bustling and booming for the four-day , one of the city’s top outdoor events, with a festival-like atmosphere celebrating music, agriculture and community spirit from July 16 to 19 at Fourth Avenue Â鶹´«Ã½AV, between 20th Street East and 21st Street East.
What began seven years ago as a modest downtown gathering — featuring a few picnic tables, local music and a basketball court — has now evolved into a high-energy, big-stage event with over 2,000 guests, national talent and a proud prairie identity.
Country star Brett Kissel will perform on July 16, while rock-soul firebrand Shawnee Kish takes the stage on July 17. There will be a theme this year, Farm Flavour, to honour Saskatchewan’s farming community, who work year-round to keep Canada fed.
“Farmers work hard, and it’s time to raise a glass to that dedication. Whether you run the land or love the people who do, this is your invite to the ultimate farmer-fuelled bash,” said Harvard Media market sales manager Kim Diller.
Harvard Media is the promotional partner of the event, which will be the biggest outdoor agriculture-themed party that Saskatoon has ever seen, combining rural roots with urban energy.
Hudsons Canada’s Pub Operating Partner Greg Clark said the festival is a chance to offer all the excitement of a summer music event, with none of the hassle. This July, downtown Saskatoon isn’t just the place to be — it’s the place to party.
“It’s a downtown event, so you get all the convenience of staying in the city — hotels, amenities, no tents or muddy fields. The growth has been incredible. From two days to now four full days of action, we’re bringing in headlining talent like Brett Kissel and Shawnee Kish, along with a strong mix of local Canadian acts," said Clark.
With cold drinks, throwback hits from and ag programming from , there’s something for everyone — whether you’re from the farm or want to dance in the streets.
The event is presented by Hudsons Canada’s Pub and Harvard Media, with major support from Saskatoon Police Service, DTNYXE, and a lineup of media powerhouses including , and Â鶹´«Ã½AV.ca.
Local radio stations are helping amplify the message across the province, rallying both city dwellers and rural communities to join in on the celebration. Leading the charge online is Harvard’s ag media brand SaskAgToday.com, ensuring the province’s ag voices are front and centre during the celebration.
Whether you’re clapping to country, swaying to soul, or just soaking up the sunshine and Saskatchewan spirit, the 2025 Saskatoon Block Party is shaping up to be a landmark celebration of music, community and the deep agricultural roots that nourish this province.
