SASKATOON - A 28-year-old woman is facing numerous charges after allegedly assaulting multiple people on Tuesday.
On May 20 at around 12:15 p.m., officers were called to the 400 block of Sylvian Crescent for the report someone had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 35-year-old man and a 36-year-old man had both been stabbed by a 28-year-old woman. The victims were transported to hospital with serious injuries that are not believed to be life threatening. The suspect had then left the residence where she had assaulted a 78-year-old man, and smashed a window in a neighbouring residence. Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) officers deployed a conducted energy weapon (CEW) successfully and the suspect was arrested.
After further investigation by the SPS Serious Assault Unit, the 28-year-old woman faces charges of aggravated assault x 2, assault and mischief. The suspect and aggravated assault victims are believed to be known to each other.
