OXBOW — Bow Valley Villa Corp., a non-profit personal care home dedicated to supporting seniors in Oxbow and surrounding communities, has launched its Cash for Summer raffle to help maintain services and resident programs.
With some vacancies currently in the facility, the need for community support is more important than ever, the villa said in a news release.
Tickets are $100 each, and participants have the chance to win cash prizes. Top prize is $20,000 or 40 per cent of ticket sales. Only 500 tickets will be sold.
Proceeds will directly benefit villa residents through enhanced programming, daily care supports and improvements to their home environment.
Every dollar raised goes straight back into the villa and the people who live there..
"We’re proud to serve our seniors, and with the community’s help, we can continue offering a high standard of care in a warm, family-like setting," the villa said.
The Bow Valley Villa team is encouraging local residents and businesses to show their support by purchasing tickets or helping to promote the fundraiser. As a registered non-profit, Bow Valley Villa relies on donations, grants and fundraising to keep costs accessible while providing essential care.
