Original report (June 17, 10:15 a.m.): ESTEVAN — The Estevan Police Service investigated a break and enter that occurred at the Tim Hortons on King Street in the early hours of June 17.
The EPS says patrol, K9 and forensic identification units responded to process the scene and attempt to locate the suspect. Surveillance video has been reviewed and the matter remains under investigation.
In a post on Facebook, Mandy Irwin, who owns the Estevan Tim Hortons franchises with her husband Ryan, said that at approximately 3:05 a.m., their King Street location was broken into. She added the EPS has been incredible.
"This has been an emotional hit for our family and our team. It’s more than a break-in … it’s a violation of everything we work so hard to build," she wrote. "We have a lot of feelings around this, but right now, our focus is on finding the person responsible."
