(L-R) Weyburn Triple C Centre Chair Deana Mainil accepted a cheque from Cenovus Senior Advisor of Community Relations Twila Walkeden and Senior Maintenance Planner Dave Craigen on December 17. The $250,000 donation is the largest amount Cenovus has ever given to any one organization in Saskatchewan.

Cenovus Energy presented the Triple C Centre with a $250,000 donation on December 17, which will sponsor the score clocks and screens in the new facility.

"Cenovus is pleased to support the Triple C Centre," said Darcy Cretin, Cenovus Operations Superintendent. "We strive to be a good neighbour and support the communities where we live and work. The Centre has received tremendous support from many families, individuals and businesses, and we're excited to be a part of that."

Triple C stands for Community, Culture and Convention - three things that will be featured in the new facility. Cenovus's donation nearly finishes the total fundraising goal of $3.5 million.
