A Weyburn woman who was bit by a dog on the hand on Sunday morning is now all right, after the dog's owner was found.
The woman was on her way to the morning church service with her husband at Grace United Church at Coteau and Third Street when a black-and-white dog bit her on the hand.

Police say the small black and white dog, which had a blanket on, was being walked by its owner on a leash, and the dog bite did break the skin.

The couple was afraid that the dog may not have had its shots, and hoped to talk to the owner to find out.

The dog's owner was found Wednesday morning, and informed the couple the dog has had its vaccinations, so the woman who was bit should be all right, after having her wound treated.
