INDIAN HEAD – Indian Head Parade Days return June 28 and 29.
This event is a time for residents and visitors to come together, celebrate community and showcase the pride we share in our town and our country.
This year’s theme, “Canadian Proud!” celebrates the rich traditions, local talents and cultural diversity that make Indian Head a special place to call home. The weekend will be filled with exciting activities and entertainment for all ages.
The festivities kick off on Saturday with a colourful parade. Throughout the day, families can enjoy a range of activities, visit the antique market and take in the action at the slo-pitch tournament.
Saturday evening will feature an outdoor concert at Jimmy Robison Field with live performances by The Milkman’s Sons and country artist Lisa Moen. Concessions will be available on-site, hosted by the Indian Head Senior Chiefs Hockey Team, and under Indian Head’s Outdoor Public Spaces Bylaw, guests are welcome to bring their own beverages to the concert area. Just be sure to stay within the designated park boundaries and event hours. Bring a lawn chair and get ready to enjoy an unforgettable evening of music under the prairie sky.
The celebration continues Sunday with the Flatland Cruisers Show N Shine car show, drawing enthusiasts and spectators from across the region to admire a wide array of classic and custom vehicles.
Indian Head Parade Days is more than just a weekend event, it’s a celebration of who we are, organizers say.
“Whether you’ve lived here for generations or are new to the community, everyone has a role in making our town vibrant. We invite you to join us in celebrating the strength of our small town and the pride we share in being Canadian.”
