Albert Hanson of Ceylon, centre, makes sure the strands are properly separated as two youngsters turn the ends to make a rope, during the Wheat Festival on Saturday. At left are Savannah Bakaluk and Hope Moore at the crank, and at right is Phillip Decelle. Other demonstrations at the Village included blacksmithing, butter-churning, ice-cream making and sheep-herding, in addition to an entertainment tent that featured many local talents on Friday and Saturday.
