A new Christian Education Club began on Jan. 28, and will run Mondays from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

This club is for children aged three to 12 years, and will take place in the Yellow Grass United Church.

There will be snacks, a Christian lesson, songs, games and crafts. This activity is sponsored by both the United and Lutheran Partnership. All age-appropriate children are welcome to attend. Voluteers are welcome to help with snacks and craft time. For more information, contact Joy Erb, Erika Altwasser or Albina Baumung.

School buses did not run for Yellow Grass School on Jan. 11 due to the zero visibility caused by a snow storm. Garbage pickup took place on Saturday instead of Friday; many people also did not go to work.

Final exams for the first semester were held from Jan. 22-25 for the senior students at Yellow Grass School.

There were no classes on Jan. 28, as this was a staff development day. The second semester began on Jan. 29; a hot lunch took place that day, and was hosted by the Gr. 11/12 Team Envirothon.

Two new students were welcomed to Yellow Grass School: Winston Segaert and Weston Rice.
