A blanket of snow and a coating of hoar frost lies on a winter landscape, found on the former Souris Valley grounds on Dec. 15. Rather than a frozen wasteland, the scene was turned into one of wintery beauty, set against a brilliant blue sky in contrast to the white of the hoar frost. With a winter fog hanging around the Weyburn area over several days, hoar frost developed a thick layer on trees and bushes, creating a beautiful backdrop for the holiday season in Weyburn and area.
