The Grade 9 Awards and Farewell Evening was held this year in a socially distanced and safe manner on June 17.
The following awards were presented:
Grade 9 General Proficiency award sponsored by Knights of Columbus went to Dalton Molnar.
Grade 9 Religious Knowledge award, sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul Parish, went to Mitzi Recto.
The Laroque-Tremblay Citizenship Award sponsored by Holy Family School Division was presented to Mitzi Recto.
The Jerry Jordens Work Ethic Award, sponsored by Jerry and Janie Jordens, was presented to Dalton Molnar.
The St. Michael School Award sponsored by York Jewellers went to Hannah VanDeSype.
The SRC Leadership Award sponsored by St. Michael SRC was presented to LeeAnn Poquiz.
The following music trophies were presented: Best Woodwind, sponsored by St. Michael SCC, went to LeeAnn Poquiz; Best Brass, sponsored by St. Michael SCC, was presented to Quinn Mantei; Best Rhythm, sponsored by St. Michael SCC, went to Jaxon Cook; Best Vocalist, sponsored by McCosh family, went to John Barretto.
The Drama trophy for the Best Actor and Actress, sponsored by Holy Family School Division, was presented to Simon Loberg and Jasmine Fedak-Mlynarski.
For Sports Trophies, the following were presented: Basketball Boys A team, sponsored by Barber Motors, went to Tiki Umbach; Basketball Girls A team, sponsored by Barber Motors, went to Hannah VanDeSype; Volleyball Boys A team, sponsored by Barber Motors, went to Dalton Molnar and Jaxon Cook; the Curling trophy, sponsored by Barber Motors, went to Xander Shane; the Cheer trophy, sponsored by Barber Motors, went to Danielle Pallarca.
The Male Athlete of the Year, sponsored by Weyburn Credit Union, went to Quinn Mantei.
The Grade 9 Leadership award was presented to Grayson Stadnek, and the Yearbook Award went to Mitzi Recto.

Tiger Badges: These badges are awarded to those students who have earned at least 120 Tiger points through extracurricular activities in Grades 6-9.

Honour of Achievement: Presented in honour of the hard work and dedication that has been displayed and the achievement of academic proficiency at St. Michael School this year.

Award of Excellence: This award is presented to those students who have received the Honour of Achievement for three consecutive years.
