What have the residents at Eaglestone been up to over the summer? The residents started their summer off with a beautiful piano recital by Darren Kitsch鈥檚 school and private students, which they all really enjoyed.

Community theatre coming to Sturgis

Sturgis On Stage is a new community theatre group led by Ang猫le Poirier of Sturgis. 鈥淭he vision is to perform a short, one-hour program consisting of two one-act plays,鈥 said Poirier.

Mushers' Rendezvous reorganizing

The committee members of the Preeceville and District Musher's Rendezvous meet-ing to prepare for next year鈥檚 annual event, which is scheduled for January 29, 30 and 31. The first meeting was held on October 5 with nine members in attendance.

Seniors in the Preeceville area were catered to at an af-ternoon of popcorn a with refreshments and socializing. The movie played was The Beverly Hillbillies and seniors had a lot of fun.
