Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS. The selection is based on: Demonstrating Christian Values, School work, School Involvement, Leadership, and Community Involvement.
Sarah is a most caring person, who often talks to new kids and makes them feel welcome. She is a smart girl, who is on the honour roll and also brings laughter wherever she goes. She is a member of the cheer/stunt team, Ukrainian dances and teaches dance to the youngsters. Sarah is a leader for the cheer/stunt team and always gives 100%. She works at the Boys and Girls Club and attends St. Mary's Parish.
Ryan is very friendly to students and staff. He is always willing to help out, especially when it comes to mass. He is someone who can always be counted on. Ryan is blessed with natural intelligence, maintaining good marks. He has good attendance and is always punctual. Ryan serves at school masses and is in the stage crew for musical. He is attends St. Gerard's Parish, where he is an alter server. Ryan is a member of cadets and is extremely involved there.
