Kathy Morrell is deeply interested in literature. She used to work part-time with Yorkton This Week. She鈥檚 an avid reader. But one of her favourite mediums is the memoir. Morrell has ghostwritten memoirs for people.

East central Saskatchewan patients and families facing the difficult journey of end-of-life care now have dedicated rooms for their specific needs.

For the next month, Saltcoats is hosting the From Vimy to Juno exhibit, a touring exhibit highlighting Canada鈥檚 place in the first and second world wars.

The Western Development Museum was the host of Grandparents Day. Attendees had the chance to make a Family Reminiscence Book, make crafts and play artifact guessing games.

Inpower Regina put on the Yorkton Ladies Bunco Night on Sept. 15. The evening was a fun, social event centered around a game of luck, Bunco, that requires no skill but does allow players to socialize and have fun.

Saskatchewan has its fair share of seniors, a group that is growing larger as the province鈥檚 population ages.
