Affinity Credit Union, which has branches in Kamsack, Pelly and Norquay, is being thanked by the Saskatchewan Craft Council for its support of the WinterGreen Fine Craft Market and local artists.

After their annual Halloween parade at the school on October 30, the Norquay Kindergarten students were taken on a bus trip to the community鈥檚 nursing home where they entertained residents by reading poems.

Preparation work for a new season at the Preeceville Curling rink has been hectic but the season was scheduled to start on November 12. The icemaker for this season is Sheldon Luciw, with Dale Schur assisting him.

The Preeceville Panthers senior girls volleyball team, under the direction of coaches Katelynn Prokop and Sarah DeRuiter, concluded its season by hosting conference playoffs on November 7.
