Another professional sports league appears poised to place a franchise in Saskatoon.

Every once in a while one can be forgiven for thinking Yorkton is an urban city 鈥� the Gallagher Centre, multiple schools, expansive fire hall, the Anne Portnuff Theatre -- existing primarily for the people that live within its boundaries.

Anything can happen on a porch. Connection. Refreshment. Reflection. Rejection, sometimes. Even buying and selling. As a child in the sixties, I had the chore of sweeping our small front porch clear of its weekly accumulation of dirt and spiders.
