International trade seems like it should be the easiest thing in the world to make work smoothly.

I鈥檓 proud of all my nieces and nephews when it comes to their accomplishments and where their young lives are headed, but I have to say that I鈥檓 positively beaming after what I watched over the weekend as it relates to one specific member of this rag

It seemed like a good idea at the time. To save ourselves from the work of preparing a full turkey dinner we decided to change the menu at Thanksgiving last year. In the weeks leading up to it we found ourselves dealing with rather full schedules.

Recently, I watched some of the series Ratched, which purports to be an origin story of Nurse Ratched from the film One Flew Over the Cuckoo鈥檚 Nest. This premise is probably the weakest part of the show.

Given how far ahead Saskatchewan Party leader Scott Moe is ahead of the NDP and leader Ryan Meili, there might be a temptation for the Premier to take his foot off the gas of that Chevy Tahoe that鈥檚 his campaign vehicle in this 2020 general election.

There are few places in the city of Yorkton that have contributed to the community鈥檚 fabric more than the grandstand on the Yorkton Exhibition grounds.

You just have to love games that come in small, pocket-sized tins. The simple fact that they are pop in a pocket and go they can be played on office coffee breaks, Saturday afternoon coffeehouse visits, taken on vacation etc.

These days I often have the privilege of sharing the drive to and from work with my grandson, a beginning driver with his first regular paying job. I love our conversations on those trips, and grab every opportunity I have to know him better.

At this time of year we are usually marking meeting dates on our calendars, but not this year! There are still no meeting dates set for the Yorkton and District Horticultural Society.

Buried in the usual rhetoric of a federal Throne Speech, amid the multi-faceted response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, was an interesting kernel of an idea put forward by the Liberal government.
