Dear Editor: On December 2, the Alberta government announced it will impose production discipline on the province鈥檚 oil companies to bring the price of bitumen-based oil above its cost of production.

Like the Grinch, my heart also grows three sizes at Christmas 鈥� a condition I probably should have a doctor look at after the holiday season.

We are on the eve of a new year, a year which should prove interesting in terms of the political landscape.

I was just listening to British Columbia Premier John Horgan talk on December 5 about CleanBC, his government鈥檚 climate change plan. Of particular interest was his reference to mandating zero emissions vehicles by 2040, in just 21 years.
