It’s a snow day! Are there more glorious words for a child? When I was very young my family lived in an Alberta hamlet; a place small in population but big in community spirit.

The Outlook has obtained the adopted minutes of the October 28 regular meeting of Outlook town council.

Thank You, Outlook When I was first notified by the Town about having a street renamed Tollefson Drive, I was in disbelief. Never in my wildest imagination did I dream of having a street bearing my name. I could never have imagined such an honour.

Some of my absolute favorite assignments in the 13 years and change that I’ve been writing for this fine publication have been speaking with those who had the courage and the fortitude to serve this great country in times of combat.

It was election night and before the polls had a chance to close I was already settled in my favorite chair. I was ready. A bowl of munchies and a diet Coke on the table to my right, my phone and laptop to the left, and across the room – the TV.

The Outlook RCMP are investigating a trio of incidents involving break-ins and theft and are asking for the public’s assistance if they have any information to provide.

The Outlook has obtained the adopted minutes of the October 14 regular meeting of Outlook’s town council.

NOTE: The print edition of this article stated that this was the last regular council meeting before the muncipal election this past Monday. That was not the case, as council met for another regular meeting on November 4.
