Wearing a jail-issued bright orange sweatshirt and green pants, a tall, lanky Travis Patron was escorted into the prisoner鈥檚 box by a sheriff at Saskatoon Provincial Court Tuesday.

Two people have been arrested in a 鈥渄ial-a-dope鈥� investigation that has resulted in the seizure of drugs, cash, and firearms.

A man was sitting in a vehicle when a black minivan pulled up to his vehicle. Three people got out and a man wearing a black ski mask and grey hoodie pointed a shotgun at the man and said he wanted his wallet and cell phone.

Incident occurred between June 25 and 26, police say.

Of the charges, 26 were laid under the Traffic Safety Act (TSA) and four under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

Police made five arrests as a result.

At the man鈥檚 home police seized 23 firearms, a crossbow, and approximately 100,000 rounds of ammunition.

One male sustained minor burns to a hand and was treated by SFD paramedics.聽Two others were treated for lacerations to their hands sustained from breaking the protective cover of the fire extinguisher cabinets.

Callers told police that a male had entered the restaurant and began swinging a knife, threatening to harm individuals inside. No one was injured.

No one was inside but a dog was found safe inside.
