Hudson Bay School celebrates 18 graduates

Hudson Bay School marked graduation with a community parade, evening ceremony, and special honours for top achievers.

HUDSON BAY — Hudson Bay School held its graduation ceremony on June 26, celebrating 18 graduates. 

Anna Kowalyk was named valedictorian, while Grayson Lupuliak received the 2024 Governor General’s Bronze Academic Medal. 

A parade took place in the afternoon, with the graduation ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. 

Mayor of Hudson Bay, Betty-Lou Palko extended congratulations to the Class of 2025, stating: “The Town of Hudson Bay, which is their extended family, wishes the graduating class of 2025 well in their journey beyond high school. Use your entire box of crayons, challenge your dreams and make Hudson Bay proud.” 

Hudson Bay School held its annual Colour Night on June 11. 

Hudson Bay, with a population of 1,403, is located in northeast Saskatchewan, approximately one hour east of Tisdale.
