TISDALE — The Tisdale Museum will host its annual Canada Day celebrations on July 1.

The Tisdale Museum invites the public to celebrate Canada Day with flags, food and fun at its location just off Highway 3 on Heritage Road.

Activities begin at 8:30 a.m. with a pancake breakfast, hosted by the Tisdale and District Museum. A cribbage tournament will follow, held at 10 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. Individuals can choose to play in one or both time slots.

Village tours are scheduled for 11:30 a.m., followed by a flag-raising ceremony at noon. Live entertainment will run from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., and cake cutting will take place at 3 p.m.

Throughout the day, children can enjoy bouncy castles, while a food booth will serve burgers, hot dogs and drinks. The event is supported by Saskatchewan Lotteries.

“Let’s celebrate our heritage and community together. We can’t wait to see you there,” said the Tisdale and District Museum.

The Tisdale Museum features an entire pioneer village on its grounds, including a restored one-room schoolhouse, a church and a blacksmith shop, offering visitors a glimpse into early settler life in northeast Saskatchewan.
