TISDALE 鈥� Youth got to experience the Regina Science Centre in Tisdale 鈥� without leaving their community. The Tisdale Community Library hosted exhibits and staff from the science centre for a three-hour activity session on July 17.

It promises to be a bigger and better North Battleford International Street Performer Festival in 2019. The sixth-annual Festival runs July 26 and 27, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Western Development Museum in North Batteford last week held a bee that was well attended. They are putting a few final touches on things to get ready for Those Were the Days in August.

Family and friends joined Blanche Nichol on July 11 to celebrate her 105th birthday. She currently is a resident at River Heights Lodge in North Battleford. She was born at Invermay on July 11, 1914.
