The North Battleford Grand Squares is celebrating its 36th anniversary of square dancing in the Battlefords. Wednesday, Oct. 21 is the day set aside to commemorate this milestone.

Singer-songwriter Tim Neufeld has lived in Nashville and played the big arenas. But he鈥檇 rather be doing what he is now - getting into Canadian culture and hanging with small town folks in places like Humboldt.

The schoolyard is covered with leaves, trees are bare and volleyball season is half completed. These are all signs that it is the middle of October. Soon students will be receiving their interim reports and first set of report cards.
