109th Canada Day picnic held in Ruddell
Ruddell held their 109th annual picnic July 1. Old-time games were enjoyed along with ice cream and lemonade. The crowd sang O Canada and then proceeded to a potluck supper which was enjoyed by all. Everyone knows how I feel about potluck suppers.

Scholarships awarded to graduates
Summer is so enjoyable when the sun is out, the rich colours of lawns, trees and flowers surround us and we can enjoy the lingering sun into the evening hours. Scholarships were handed out at Unity graduation ceremonies.
