William Remington Warwick was born on Sept. 25, 1926 at Turtle Grove near the town of Turtleford. He was raised on a farm near Midnight Lake.

Sunny skies and a beautiful summer day greeted Battlefords Art Club members as they met for a day of painting, laughter and fellowship. The final chapter was written for our show and sale this Friday and Saturday at the sailing club at Meota.

Summer is so enjoyable when the sun is out, the rich colours of lawns, trees and flowers surround us and we can enjoy the lingering sun into the evening hours. Scholarships were handed out at Unity graduation ceremonies.
