A reunion of those who have cared for individuals at Saskatchewan Hospital, North Battleford, are encouraged to attend a reunion July 12 to 14 in the Battlefords.

Fire destroys out building, collectible cars

Sympathy to the Betty Taylor families of Battleford on the recent passing of Betty. A funeral was held May 18 in Battleford. Fire raged through a shop and storage building on the Gary and Lind Âé¶¹´«Ã½AVgate farm in the Eagle Hills area.

The students and staff at Neilburg Composite School have been very busy recently. According to Miss Johnson and Mrs. Newport, the Grade 5 and 6 students headed to Maidstone May 1 to participate in the annual floor hockey tournament.

HRL Georgina Schneider welcomed 29 members to the May meeting of the St. Walburg Royal Purple meeting. Following the opening ceremony, Draping of the Charter was performed in memory of long time member Mary Novlan.

Cards and bingo enjoyed

Cribbage was played at the Maidstone Drop In Centre May 13 with Lil McMillan hosting and supplying lunch. High score went to Mollie Den Ouden and low to Hazel MacEachern. Bingo was played May 15 with a good turnout.
