District lodges meet in North Battleford
Fourteen members of the St. Walburg Royal Purple travelled to the 59th annual Royal Purple district meeting hosted by the North Battleford Royal Purple. The district includes North Battleford, Cut Knife and St. Walburg and has 105 members.

Abstract challenge ends in a tie
The Battlefords Photo Club met at the Allen Sapp Gallery April 2. The evening meeting was focused on reviewing photos from the 'Foto Fun' Contest as well as the photos from the photo of the month challenge; the theme being abstract.

Sympathy goes out to Harley Custer of Battleford and the families on the recent passing of his wife Nona Irene Custer, formerly Besse of the Wilson Lake area. Nona and Harley spent a few years in Biggar and moved to Kamloops, B.C.
